Iwan The Lions Foundation

Iwan arrived at Stichting Leeuw in 2012, together with his brother Drago, with whom he shares his enclosure. The gentlemen come from a German circus.

Iwan is a bit calmer than his brother. He is also the larger of the two, making him easily recognisable. He also has a somewhat longer ‘face’ than his brother. Iwan is a playful tiger who likes to seek the company of Drago. He also gets along well with neighbour Bombay. Iwan, like his brother, loves nice and warm weather.

In 2023 Bombay, Drago and Iwan were relocated to The Lions Foundation in South Africa, to live the rest of their lives in peace and quiet, in a wonderful big enclosure.
