Aslan Lions

Aslan was born in a circus in Bulgaria and when he was a few months old, he was bought by someone who wanted to save him from a life in the circus.

That’s how Aslan ended up with us, because an apartment is no place for a lion. Aslan was healthy, but very scared and impressed with everything when he came to us. For the first few months, Aslan received a lot of attention from the caretakers, but there was someone else who helped. Young lioness Ayla, then over a year old, was the perfect candidate to pair Aslan with. Both still young and playful. Slowly we got the two used to each other and in May 2016 we paired the two for the first time. Now, the couple is inseparable and they teach each other what it is to be a lion. Perhaps there is also a future for these two beauties in beautiful South Africa!
