Radjah Tigers

Due to the war in Ukraine, Stichting Leeuw received an emergency call to take care of several big cats. Radjah comes from near Kharkiv, eastern Ukraine. Together with other animals, he was taken to the border of Poland and Ukraine by caretakers, risking their own lives. Here he was picked up by the drivers of Stichting Leeuw. Poznan Zoo in Poland coordinated these transports.

After a long and hectic journey through Ukraine, Poland, Germany and the Netherlands, Radjah arrived safely at Stichting Leeuw. Here he could first relax in the quarantine. After 30 days, Radjah was allowed to go to the main building of Stichting Leeuw. Radjah is a curious young tiger who enjoys his new ‘safe’ home.
