Nala Lions
- Born: 2011
- Origin: German animal park
- Arrival at Stichting Leeuw: 2012
- Family: (half)sister of Simba and Tristan
Tristan and Nala were born in a German animal park. Because there was no room for the cubs there, they came to Stichting Leeuw in 2012 when they were about nine months old.
The then five lions all have the same father and two different mothers. Once they became adults, we separated the males Simba and Tristan and each got their own females. In the wild it goes the same way, lions always live in a group.
Nala is a very brave lioness, who can sometimes be a bit shy. They moved to The Lions Foundation in South Africa in May 2016. There they have room to live, like lions should.
